Safety Instructions

Only Certified Air Bag Compatible Black DuckTM Canvas Seat covers are to be fitted to vehicles with seat fitted Side Air Bags Air Bag Compatible Seat covers must be returned to the manufacture for repairs if required.

These seat covers are not to be fitted to vehicles other than those specified by the seat cover manufacturer.

Black Duck TM Canvas Products Air Bag Compatible Canvas Seat Covers have been dynamically tested by an approved testing authority and found not to adversely affect the performance of the manufacturers seat fitted side airbag and therefore the safety of the vehicles occupants will not be compromised, providing that the seat covers are fitted correctly and in accordance with the manufacturers instructions, and that the seat covers have not been repaired or modified in any way.

As the Manufacturers and sellers of this product have no control over the end use or the fitment to the vehicle, to the extent allowable by law, the Manufacturers and sellers accept no responsibility or liability for any malfunction of the vehicle occupant safety systems including the seat mounted side impact airbag system as a direct or indirect result of the incorrect fitment or unauthorized repair or modification to this product.

Care Instructions

Your Black DuckTM Canvas Seat covers will stop anything from penetrating through to your vehicle seat. All dirt will be on the outside.

• Vacuum to remove all dust and loose dirt.
• Remove from seats.
• Use cold running water and soft bristle brush.
• Run the dirt off the seat covers to avoid contaminating the clean side of the seat covers.
• May discolour after cleaning (but this will not affect the seat covers in any way).

Note: Do not dry-clean or machine wash. Warm hand wash only. May discolour after washing due to proofing process.

Fitting Instructions

• Remove each component
• Check you have covers for seat base, backrest, headrest and armrest if applicable
• Each piece is identified on the inside with “D” for driver and “P” for passenger – separate Driver and passenger pieces. It is absolutely essential, particularly with certified Air Bag Compatible Black DuckTM Canvas Seat Covers, the correct piece is fitted to the correct part of the seats and under no circumstances are driver and passenger pieces to be mixed up – especially the back rest covers.

Fitting Seat Back

• Remove Headrest if necessary and fit cover to it if applicable.
• Place cover over top of seat back and slide down.
• Replace Headrest before sliding cover all the way down.
• Take front bottom flap and push through to rear at base of the seat back.
• Pull tight and attach to Velcro inside rear of cover.

Fitting Seat Base

• Slide base onto seat ensuring it is clear of all levers or buttons.
• Push rear flap through seat to rear
• Pull both side flaps tight around seat base, ensuring clearance of levers.
• If cover doesn’t have side flaps it may have a Velcro strap to tie sides together.
  In some cases this Velcro must pass between plastic frame housing and foam cushions and if possible above seat runners.
• Test movement of seat to ensure it is not obstructed.
• As you use your vehicle Black Duck TM Seat covers will mould to the shape of the seat.
• You may need to re-tension the Velcro fasteners occasionally.
